Job requirements

From your experience and expertise, you understand exactly which choices are necessary from all core competences involved (electrical, mechanical and software) to (further) develop our machines. You make it crystal clear what the requirements for the machine are. All the good and bad options, you see it through. In this way, you get from a long list of options to a short list. The results you discuss with Wouter, our lead engineer, and together you determine which decisions we take. We are talking about the separate machine modules, where the 3 core competences come together.

Wouter oversees the entire system architecture of the machine and therefore knows exactly what fits within it, and you know the modules inside out. You combine the mechanical, electrical and software elements and therefore continuously exchange knowledge from all three disciplines. You not only work on new machines, but you are also working on improving our existing machines.

You work with (extreme) high voltage machines in combination with high power. Your challenge is to make these machines easily producible. We work with embedded, and industrial software, so you will also find great challenges there to further increase your knowledge.

Skills
  • Combines conceptual thinking to understand the machine/process and, at the same time, practical skills to operate/troubleshoot/modify the device.
  • Strong communication skills (with both customers and colleagues) – oral and written.
